Mihemed Salih İbrahim Cum'a, known as (Doctor Mihemed Salih Cum'a), was a member of the Founding Committee of the Kurdish Students' Association in Qamishli, Rojava Kurdistan (Syria) in 1953. In 1966, he joined the organizations of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) of Iraq in Europe. In 1979, he was elected as a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party by the representatives of the Ninth Congress. In 1979, at the first meeting of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, he was elected as a member of the Politburo of the KDP.
Biography
Mihemed Salih İbrahim Cum'a, known as (Doctor Mihemed Salih Cum'a), was born in 1937 in the village of Kistek in Qamishlo province in Western Kurdistan. In 1959, he was accepted to the Philosophy Department of the University of Damascus, but after a short time he abandoned his studies and went to Germany. In 1960, he was accepted to the Economics Department of the University of Munich. On August 27, 1960, while returning from the Congress of the Kurdish Students' Association in Europe (K.S.S.E.), he was seriously injured in a car accident. In 1963, he received a Bachelor of International Sciences from the University of Munich in the Federal Republic of Germany. In 1967, he received a Master of Political Economy from the Karl Horst University in the German Democratic Republic. In 1972, he received his PhD in Economics from Karl Horst University in the German Democratic Republic. He taught at Humboldt University in Berlin between 1972 and 1975. He retired as a university professor in 1993. He is fluent in Kurdish, Arabic, Syriac, Russian, German, English and Persian.

In 1968, he was a member of the secretariat of the Kurdish Students' Association in Europe and a representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in this association. In 1966, he was responsible for the organizations of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Europe. In 1970, he was the head of the delegation of the Kurdistan Students' Association in The Eighth Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party was. In 1979, at the first meeting of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, he was elected as a member of the Politburo of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. On April 15, 1979, he visited Dr. Abdulrahman Qasimlo as part of the Kurdistan Democratic Party delegation. On November 25, 1979, he was a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party delegation to visit the city of Mahabad to strengthen relations between the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran. In 1979, he was a teacher at the Khula Rajan Cadre Training Institute. From April 1, 1981 to July 7, 1981, he was a teacher of the Political Economy class of the Seventh Class of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's Cadre Institute in the village of Rajan in Eastern Kurdistan.
