Temer Ehmed Shabaz was born in 1931 in the village of Sireshma, near the town of Khalifan in the province of Erbil. He was a farmer and had two sons and five daughters. In 1975, after the defeat of the September Revolution, he emigrated to Iran and returned to Southern Kurdistan in 1991 and participated in the uprising and rebellion against the Iraqi army, and later settled in the land of his grandparents.
In 1962, he joined the Peshmerga forces of the Eylül revolution. In 1963, after the Iraqi regime attacked the village of Sirêşme in the district of Xelîfan and burned the village, he and his family moved to the areas under the control of the revolution and settled in the Balek area. That same year, Temer Ehmed Şabaz participated in the battles of Qaladize and Sengeser. When the Iraqi army planned to attack those places under the control of the revolution in the Mêrgesor and Serê Akrê valleys and Mount Pîris with the aim of occupying the village of Barzan and the area, Mele Mustafa Barzani sends a letter to Ahmed Shabaz to attack the Iraqi army until the intensity of the war in the Barzan region is reduced. For this, Tamer Ahmed Shabaz, after receiving a deadline from Mullah Mustafa Barzani He returns to his father and, with the cooperation and support of the people of Sireshma, launches a massive attack on the Iraqi army near the village of Rust in the Balekayeti region, causing them great damage and loss.
In 1967, the family of Ahmed Shabaz was again displaced due to the burning of their villages by the Iraqi army to the Barzagir plain on the border of the Hêrti Plain in the Sîdekan district, and they remained there until March 11, 1970. After the March 11 agreement, on the orders of Mullah Mustafa Barzani Returning to the village of Sireshma.
In 1981, on the instructions of Idris Barzani, he returned to the city of Shino in Eastern Kurdistan and participated in May Revolution He then returned to Xwakurk as a platoon commander under the command of Franso Hariri. In 1987, he participated in the Battle of the Black Valley in the Sîdekan area and in 1988, he participated in the Battle of Nazdar, which was part of the battles of Xwakurk, and was injured. Temer Ehmed Şabaz was injured several times and all his body muscles suffered from severe burns in the Battle of Nazdar. He was also seriously injured in 1987 in the Black Valley due to the regime's banned Napalm and lost his sight in one eye, for which he was sent to Austria in 2013 to receive medical treatment.
In 1991, during the uprising and rebellion in Southern Kurdistan, the former returned to Southern Kurdistan through Haji Omaran and participated in the uprising and liberation of the city of Amed. Later, he became a member of the Helgurd Command. In 1994, he joined the Special Brigade of the Supreme Commander and later assumed the command of the Peshmerga of the village of Sireshma near the town of Khalifan, which had about 100 Peshmerga.
In 1996, on the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, President Masoud Barzani He has received the Barzani Medal.
He passed away on July 29, 2015, due to the effects of his injuries, at his own request and in the presence of the Presidential Representative. Masoud Barzani and a large number of people from the district are buried in the village of Sireshme, the land of their ancestors.
