Rashid Muhammad Faqo was known as Rashid Isomeri. He was born in 1941 in the village of Isomeri in the Barzan area of the Margasor district of Erbil province. In 1975, after the defeat of the September Revolution, he emigrated to Iran and settled in the city of Neqadah. He was transferred there from the city of Karaj. In 1991, after the uprising and uprising of the people of Southern Kurdistan, he returned to Southern Kurdistan. He passed away on July 7, 2013.
In 1961, after the start of the September Revolution, he contacted the Peshmerga forces of the September Revolution and became a Peshmerga under his brother Zubair Faqo. Rashid Muhammad Faqo participated in the battles of Zawita Valley, Lomana, and Makhobizni in the Behdinan area. In 1962, after the martyrdom of his brother Zubair Faqo in the Battle of Miriba, he became Serqol in his place. He participated in the battles of Serê Akre in 1962 and the Battle of Piris in 1963. After clearing the Behdinan area of the Iraqi army and militias, with Mullah Mustafa Barzani He moved to the Soran area and became the special guard of the Mullah. Mustafa Barzani and continued in that position until 1975.
In 1991, after the uprising and uprising of the people of Southern Kurdistan, he returned to Kurdistan and participated in the war against the Iraqi army. In 1993, he became the head of the Social Committee of the General Social School in the Nizari villages.
On August 16, 1996, on the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, for the services it has provided to the Kurds, Kurdistan, and the Barzani method, it was awarded by the President Masoud Barzani He has received the Barzani Medal.
