Haji Khidir Omar Aziz

Hacî Xidir Omer, known as (Hacî Xidir), was born in 1956 in the village of Bêxebar in the Batîfa district of Zakho district. In 1983, he participated in the Battle of Ketine in the Qandil Mountains and was wounded for the second time on September 22, 1983. In 1984, when the Iraqi army attacked the Zakho district council, he actively participated in the defense and was wounded for the third time on September 1, 1984. In the same year, while participating in the Battle of Pêge in the village of Avgeniye, he was wounded for the fourth time on December 26, 1987. He was also wounded twice more in the battles of defense in the Sharia on November 12, 1992 and November 28, 1992, while participating in the battles in the Zakho area and in Serê Dêr.
