Abdulrahman Muhammad Abdulrahman

Abdulrahman Mihemed Abdulrahman, known as (Abdulrahman Hureyî), was born in 1930 in the village of Hure in the Rekan district of Duhok province. He studied until the fifth grade of primary school. In 1975, after the defeat of the September Revolution, he stayed in the Sheladize area. Before starting May Revolution It was the turn of the Peshmerga who were on the border of Northern and Southern Kurdistan and continued to carry out guerrilla activities there.

 

In 1988, after the completion of the Anfal operation carried out by the Iraqi regime against the civilian population of Kurdistan, it reached Eastern Kurdistan from the borders of Northern Kurdistan. In 1991, before the uprising and uprising of the Kurdistan People's Republic, it reached Southern Kurdistan and participated in the uprising in the city of Duhok.

 

On August 16, 1996, for his work and services, he was awarded the Golden Jubilee, or the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, by the President. Masoud Barzani He has received the Barzani Medal.
