This book is an academic study on the role of women in political work between 1958-1991, consisting of an introduction, an introduction, three chapters, appendices, documents, and photographs.

The first part of this book discusses the role of women in Kurdish and Iraqi political parties and movements between 1958-1991 and discusses two issues on the role of women in Kurdish and Iraqi political parties between 1958-1975, such as the Communist Party of Iraq and the Democratic Party of Kurdistan, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, the Democratic Socialist Party of Kurdistan, the Kurdish Socialist Party (PASOK), the Islamic Movement in Southern Kurdistan, and the Party of the Toilers of Kurdistan.

The second part is about the role of women in professional and public movements and organizations and consists of two topics and discusses professional and public movements and organizations between the years (1958-1975) such as the Kurdistan Women's Union, the Iraqi Women's Rights Defense Association and the Peace Movement in Iraq, women's associations and organizations in Southern Kurdistan between the years 1975-1991 such as the Kurdistan Women's Union, the Kurdistan Women's Association, the Leyla Qasim Organization, the Kurdistan Women's Union and the Kurdistan Women's Pioneer Organization.

The third section discusses the role of women in armed conflict and international activities, and includes three topics: the role of women in the armed conflict between 1961-1991, the role and participation of women in international activities, and the Iraqi government's stance towards the women's struggle in Southern Kurdistan between 1958-1951.
