Martyr Wasman Bas Hussein was born in 1939 in the village of Siwan, in the town of Sidekan, in the province of Erbil. He was a villager and farmer, and was married.
Joined in 1961 September Revolution He was part of the Balek force, which was commanded by Commander Hadê Hesko at the time, and became a pêşmerge and participated in the battles of the Ali Beg Valley and Sartîzi. In 1964, he was martyred with a group of his friends in the battle of the Omar Axa Valley as a result of the Ba'th regime's shelling.
