Şiwan Mirxan Badin contacted the Eylül revolution in 1962 and became a Peshmerga under Heso Mirxan Dolemari and participated in the battles of Shush and Shermin in 1962 and the battle of Serê Akre. In 1962, he moved to the Soran district with Barzani's Nemir and that same year he participated in the battles of Serê Sefin, Sîsawe, Spilk, Xelîfan, Dolî Hiran and Nazenîn. In 1964, he became a Peshmerga with Tahir Ozêr Agha Zirari. In 1968, he was transferred to the Barzani's Nemir Base in Qesrê and Dilman. In 1969, he participated in the battles in the Barzan region. In 1969, after the Iraqi army occupied the Pishdar district, Siwan Mirkhan was one of the 70 Peshmerga who, under the command of Barzani, went to liberate the base (Makhubizin) in the Sengeser district. After the agreement of March 11, 1970, he became the battalion commander and was given responsibility for the revolutionary weapons and explosives depots and depots in Haji Omaran. After the defeat of 1975, he went to the Zewa camp and was transferred to Karaj. In 1979, he contacted the May Revolution and returned to Zewa. In 1980, he went to Ketine with 100 Peshmerga under the supervision of Kek Idris Barzani and Sheikh Muhammad Khalid and stayed there for six months.
In 1981, he participated in the detachments that were in the Barzan, Mergesor and Goretu districts and carried out several actions and caused several losses to the enemy. He was wounded in 1982. He participated in the Xwakurk campaign in 1988. After the extensive Anfal operation and the chemical attack on the Behdinan district, he went to Eastern Kurdistan with other peshmerga. After the uprising and the great uprising of 1991, he returned to the Barzan district.
Two of his nephews, Kerîm Mustafa Hedo and Mustafa Şekir Mustafa, were martyred. At the 13th congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, President Masoud Barzani He has been awarded the Barzani Medal of Immortality. He is currently continuing his work at the Barzan Command with the rank of Aqid.
