Military figure and politician Qadir Qadir Ali Ahmed joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces in 1962. He was a delegate to the 8th congress in 1970 and the 9th in 1979, and was a member of the central committee in 1989, and at the 10th congress in 1989, 11th in 1993, and 12th in 1999, and was elected as a member of the leadership council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in 2010 and at the 13th congress.
Biography
Qadir Qadir was born in 1946 in the city of Sulaymaniyah, and graduated from the second grade of the central high school. He was appointed as the Assistant to the Ministry of Peshmerga in the Kurdistan Regional Government in 1992. He is fluent in Kurdish, Persian, and Arabic.

He participated in the Battle of Yalanqozî Zewe in 1964, the Battle of Khalkhalan in 1965, and the Battle of Derbent Ranya in 1965, and was wounded in the Battle of Bakirejo in 1969. In 1974, he became the commander of the fourth battalion in the Xebat force and in 1975, after the defeat of the September Revolution, he emigrated to Iran. During his service, he held several different military and political ranks and positions.
In 1988, he participated in the Xwakurk epic and was appointed as a member of the preparatory committee of the tenth congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the same year. He was a delegate to the eighth congress in 1970 and the ninth in 1979, and in 1989, he became a member of the central committee at the tenth congress in 1989, the eleventh in 1993 and the twelfth in 1999, and in 2010, he was elected as a member of the leadership council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party at the thirteenth congress.
It participated in the liberation of Southern Kurdistan in 1991 on the border of Sulaymaniyah province. It was established in 1992 with the support of the Ministry of Peshmerga in the Kurdistan Regional Government.
