Omid Sabah Osman was born in Kirkuk in 1980. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Kirkuk, received a law degree from Kirkuk University, a master's degree in private law from Salaheddin University, and a doctorate in private law from Sulaymaniyah University.
He worked in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Kurdistan Regional Government from 2004 to 2012. He was the official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region between 2012 and 2017. Since July 2019, he has been in charge of the office of the Council of Ministers of the ninth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
He was elected as a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) at the 14th congress in Duhok on October 6, 2022.
