Muhyeddin Mustafa Salih was born in 1923 in the village of Kawlebas, in the town of Sidekan, in the province of Erbil. He was a villager and a well-known figure in the area. He was married.
Joined in 1962 September Revolution and became a peshmerga. In 1971, by order of Mustafa Barzani, he became the commander of the Barzani base battalion and under the supervision of Idris Barzani, he participated in most of the battles in the Sidekan and Soran areas. Later, he became the battalion commander in the Barzan forces. In 1982, when he was returning from Iran to his village, which was then a liberated area of the revolution, a number of Ba'th regime gangs attacked and burned his house and he was martyred in a fierce clash.
