Politician Muhammad Mahmud Abdullah, known as Muhammad Herki, joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Students' Union in 1970. He was a representative of the ninth congress in 1979, the tenth in 1989, the eleventh in 1993 and the twelfth in 1999, and was elected a member of the leadership council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party at the thirteenth congress in 2010.
Biography
Mihemed Herki was born in 1954 in the town of Pirmam, graduated from high school, passed away on September 14, 2011 and was buried in the Pirmam cemetery. He was fluent in Kurdish, Arabic, and Persian.

Muhammad Harki joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Students' Union in 1970. In 1974, he participated as a Peshmerga in the battles of Khalifan, Gorez, and Hasan Beg on the border of Erbil province and was wounded several times. He emigrated to Iran in the years (1975-1991) after the defeat of the September Revolution.

In 1994, he became the head of the Salaheddin district council under the second district council of Erbil, and in 2011, he became the head of the nineteenth district council of Çemçemal. He passed away on September 14, 2011, and was buried in the Pirmam cemetery.
