Heydar Ali Muhammad Ahmed

Heyder Ali, also known as (Heyder Xanî Germiyan), was a Peshmerga of the September and May Revolutions, a member of the ninth congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and was martyred on the border between Iran and Iraq in 1981.


Martyr Heyder Ali was born in 1932 in the village of Mehmud Qacarî in the Xanaqîn district, and was a farmer. Heyder Xanî Germiyan was a housewife and his wife's name was Nesrîn Murade and he had four sons and three daughters.

 

In 1967, he became involved in the September Revolution and became a Peshmerga under Akbar Heydar Suremi, who was at that time the leader of the Xebat force of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. He participated in the Bemo battles in 1967, the border battles of Khanaqin, and the Battle of Sharbajer in 1969. In 1967, he was hit by a shell of the Iraqi army at the Bemo Mountain and was injured. After the defeat of the September Revolution and in 1975, he emigrated to Iran and settled in the town of Rewansar in the Kermanshah province.

 

Heyder Xani Germiyan in May Revolution continued its armed activities with the forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and at that time, it became the leader of the Khanaqin district committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's third branch, and Akbar Heydar Suremiri became the head of the district committee.

 

In 1978, during the Battle of Sharbajer, a soldier from the then Iraqi regime was hit by a bullet and was seriously injured. He was sent to a hospital in Tehran, Iran, for treatment.

 

In 1979, he became a member of the ninth congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Iran and immediately after the congress, he received the executive rank of the Khanaqin District Committee.

 

On July 26, 1981, along with a group of ten of his comrades on the border between Iran and Iraq, he was killed by mines and cultural mines of the Ba'ath regime. Later, his body was transferred to Kermanshah by his comrades and buried in the Hesen Waya cemetery between Kermanshah and Rewansar. At the same time, along with Heyder Xani Germian, two comrades named Arif Qadir and Abbas Germian were killed, and Akbar Heyder Suramiri, Mullah Aziz Germian, and Jabar Heyder Suramiri were seriously injured.
