Biography
Hemin Hawrami was born in 1976 in Halabja. He and his family immigrated to Iran as refugees in the years (1986-1987). In 1999, he received a bachelor's degree in English language and literature from Salaheddin University - Erbil. In 2021, he received a doctorate in international relations from Sorani University. In 2018, he was elected as a member of the Kurdistan National Council for the fifth term and became the First Deputy Chairman of the Kurdistan National Council. He is fluent in Kurdish, English, Persian and Arabic.
