Diyari Hussein

Biography

Diyari Hisen Osman was born in 1962 in the city of Halabja. He studied at the preparatory level in Iran and obtained a bachelor's degree. He is a 1986 graduate of the eighth class of the KDP cadres' academy. He is fluent in Kurdish, Arabic and Persian.

Diyari Hussein joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in 1974 and emigrated to Iran in 1975 after the defeat of the September Revolution. On November 30, 1985, he was accepted into the eighth class of the Kurdistan Democratic Party cadres' academy in the village of Rajan in Eastern Kurdistan, along with 44 other students, and successfully completed the class on April 3, 1986.

 

In 1987, he participated in the battles of Qaradax, Hanaqul and Girdi Ehmed Awa on the border of Sulaymaniyah and Halabja provinces, and in 1988, he was wounded in the battle of Tepekure on the border of Sulaymaniyah province. He was a delegate to the tenth congresses of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in 1989 and the eleventh in 1993.

 

During the 1991 uprising, he was appointed Commander of the Second Axis of Derbendixan and the commander of Sulaymaniyah by the Kurdistan Front. He served in several party positions and ranks, and in 1995 he became the Secretary of the 12th Halabja District Committee.

 

In 1999, at the 12th congress, he was elected as a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and in the same year he became the Deputy Head of the 12th Halabja Branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 2004, he became the Deputy Head of the Central School of the KDP Organization and in 2005, he became a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 2006, he became the Head of the 15th Khanaqin Branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

 

In 2010, at the 13th Congress, he was elected as a Member of the Leadership Council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and in the same year, he was appointed as a Member of the Sulaymaniyah Provincial Leadership Council of the KDP. In 2012, he became the Head of the 12th Halabja District Committee of the Sulaymaniyah Provincial Leadership Council and in 2013, he became the Deputy Head of the Kirkuk-Garmiyan Leadership Council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 2022, at the 14th Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the city of Duhok, he was elected as a Member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
