An academic and politician, Dr. Çinar Sa'ed Abdullah joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Students' Union in 1993 and the Kurdistan Democratic Party in 1995. In 2005, she became a member of the second floor of the Kurdistan National Council (Kurdistan Parliament), and in 2006, she became the Minister of Martyrs and Anfal Victims' Affairs in the fifth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government. In 2010, at the thirteenth congress, she was elected a member of the leadership council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
Biography
Çinar Sa'ed Abdullah was born in 1974 in Erbil. She received her bachelor's degree in sociology in 1995, her master's degree in sociology in 2002, and her doctorate in sociology in 2006 from Salaheddin University - Erbil, and was appointed as a lecturer at the same university. In 2005, she became a member of the second term of the Kurdistan National Council, and in 2006, she was appointed to the fifth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government, as Minister of Martyrs' and Anfal Victims' Affairs. She is fluent in Kurdish, Arabic, Persian, and English.

Çinar Sa'ed Abdullah emigrated to Iran with his family in 1986 due to his father's political activities and returned to his homeland in 1991 during the last uprising in Southern Kurdistan. In 2022, at the fourteenth congress, he was elected as a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and was in charge of the Research and Evaluation Department of the Politburo of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
