The role of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in the liberation movement of the Kurdish people in Southern Kurdistan
This book is a historical and political study on the role of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in the liberation movement of the Kurdish people in Southern Kurdistan between 1976 and 1991. It consists of an introduction, a summary of the study, a preface, three chapters, an appendix, and a summary of the study in English.
The first part of this book discusses the role of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in the Kurdish people's liberation movement between 1976-1979 and includes two articles on the rise of the Kurdistan Democratic Party-Iraq at the political level and the organization of social movements, as well as the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and how the armed revolution emerged, and the KDP's role in the May Revolution and military actions against the Iraqi government.
The second part is about the role of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the Kurdish people's liberation movement between 1980-1985 and consists of five topics: the role of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in uniting the Iraqi opposition, military actions against the Iraqi government, demonstrations and popular uprisings in Kurdistan and the Kurdish civil war, the position of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) regarding political developments in Iraq and Kurdistan and the outbreak of the Iraq-Iran war, and the position of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) regarding meetings with the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and the Iraqi government.
The third part of the book discusses the role of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in the Kurdish people's liberation movement between 1986-1991 and covers four topics: the role of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in the reconciliation between the political parties of Kurdistan, military actions against the Iraqi government, the establishment of the Kurdistan Front, and the Kurdistan uprising of March 1991.
