This book consists of a preface, two main parts, and appendices, documents, reports, lists of friends' names, photo albums, and maps.

The first part of the book discusses the events of 1945-1958 and includes several topics related to the Barzanis' departure to Eastern Kurdistan, the establishment of the Republic of Kurdistan in Mahabad, Barzanis' forces as the main force defending the republic, the saga of Qarawa and Mulqaran, the typhus fever and the death of 2,000 Barzanis, the collapse of the Kurdistan Republic and the martyrdom of Peshwa Qazi and his friends, the Barzanis' retreat to the border, the Battle of Selwe and the Saga of Nelos and Gojar, the Iranian army's attack on the Shino front, the saga of Evres and Halaj and the Battle of Nêrkê, the return of the Barzanis to Southern Kurdistan and their transfer and arrest by the Iraqi regime, the legendary saga of Aras and the return of President Barzanis and the Barzanis from Russia to Iraq.

The second part compares the military principles of Barzani's historical march with world legends and consists of several topics that discuss the crossing of the Aras with military principles and methods, the principle of purposefulness as Mustafa Barzani's goal of crossing the Aras, the principle of attack or surprise attack, the principles of concentration and maneuver in the Kutol Valley, the principle of concealing the secrets of the army and obtaining information about the enemy, the principle of coordination, self-organization and unity of the army, the principles of security, cooperation and facilitation plans through the Aras, the principle of initiation, resistance, and the principle of persistence.
