Martyr Wiso Hemed Law, also known as (Wiso Hemed Law), was born in 1952 in the village of Giwanî in the Diyana district of Erbil province. He became a farmer and had two daughters and a son.

 

In 1968, he joined the Peshmerga forces of Kurdistan with his brother Abdulwahid. He became a Peshmerga in the Seyid Asi battalion affiliated with the Balek forces. He participated in the battles of Mount Zozik and Sertiz and the Omar Axa Campaign.

 

In 1974, after the start of the war between the Peshmerga forces and the Ba'ath Party, he again took up the Peshmerga weapon and defended the land of Kurdistan. On April 17, 1974, in the battle of Mount Gorez near the village of Balekiyan in the Diyana district, he was martyred along with his older brother, Abdulwahid Hamed Law, his cousin, and several other relatives.

 

Due to the war situation and the presence of enemy tank and artillery bombardment, the remains of the martyrs could not be buried in the village of Giwan. Therefore, they were buried in the village of Sîtkan.
