Martyr Sulêman Nebî Ahmed Ewla was born in 1939 in the village of Rustê in the Balekayeti area of Erbil province. He graduated from vocational training, then continued his education due to his intelligence and talent and became an officer in the Iraqi Air Force.
In 1962, he joined the Iraqi Air Force and became involved in the September Revolution. He became a Peshmerga in Mahmud Kavani's force and later became a Battalion Commander and participated in the mountain battles of Safin and Kepki Shilane. In 1962, during the attack on Safin Mountain, he was seriously injured by enemy warplanes bombing with Commander Mahmud Kavani and later died of his injuries.
