Biography

Qadir Qeçax was born in 1962 in the city of Duhok. He graduated from the fourth grade of preparatory school. He was the Director of General Security of the Kurdistan Region in the years (2001 - 2005). He is fluent in Kurdish and Persian.

In 1987, he participated in the Battle of Spirez and the capture of the Germava Hill strongholds on the border of Duhok province. In 1988, he participated as a commander in the Battle of Derelok on the border of Duhok province and was wounded in the battle of the village of Shetuns.

 

He was elected as a member of the central committee at the tenth congress in 1989 and was a delegate to the 11th congresses in 1993 and 12th. He was elected as a member of the leadership council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party at the 13th congress in 2010, and became an alternate member at the Fourteenth Congress in 2022.
