Politician Najmedin Said Ali, known as Najmedin Yusifi, joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in 1958 and the ranks of the Peshmerga forces in 1961. In 1964, he became the governor of Amed by the decision of the Kurdistan Revolution Leadership Council. In 1966, he became a member of the supervisory and review committee at the seventh congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 1975, he emigrated to Iran. In 1979, at the ninth congress, he was elected a member of the central committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
Biography
Najmedin Said was born in 1941 in Duhok. In 1959, he received a diploma from the Abu Ghraib Agricultural Institute in Baghdad. In 1964, he was appointed as the governor of Amadey by the Al-Maktab Al-Tanfizi (Al-Tanfizi) office of the Revolutionary Leadership Council in Iraqi Kurdistan. In 1975, he emigrated to Iran. In 2000, he became the head of the Martyrs' Families Reconciliation Association in Duhok. In the years (2014-2017), he worked in the fight against ISIS by gathering cooperation for the Peshmerga and refugees. He passed away on February 12, 2018 and was buried in Duhok. He was fluent in Kurdish, Arabic and Persian.

Najmedin Saeed joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in 1958 and the Peshmerga forces in 1961. In 1962, he was elected to the liberated areas of the September Revolution, and in 1963, he became a district member of the Amed district committee, and in 1964, he became the secretary of the Amed district committee under the first committee. In 1964, he became a member of the preparatory committee and a representative of the sixth congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In the same year, he became a member of the first committee and responsible for the Amed district committee.
In the years (1968 - 1969) he was a student of the first class of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's cadre training school in the village of Çoman in Erbil province. In the years (1970 - 1975) he was the first officer.
In 1979, he became a member of the organizing committee of the interim leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and in the same year, he became a member of the preparatory committee of the ninth congress. At that congress, he was elected a member of the central committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and was entrusted with the responsibility of supervising the affairs of the refugees in the Zewa camp and in charge of the guards at the political school headquarters.
In 1981, he wrote a book in Arabic entitled (Sawre Aylul Al Mujide). In 1985, he became the head of the first division committee. In 1991, he became a member of the supervisory committee of the Peshmerga forces that liberated the city of Duhok. In 1992, he was the candidate of the Kurdistan Democratic Party for the election of the first member of the Kurdistan National Council (Kurdistan Parliament).
In 1996, he was awarded the Barzani Medal of the Immortal by President Masoud Barzani on the 50th anniversary of the founding (Golden Jubilee) of the Kurdistan Democratic Party for his service in the September Revolution, the May Revolution, the Southern Kurdistan uprising, and the period of sovereignty.
In early 1999, he was appointed as a member of the preparatory committee of the twelfth congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and later as a member of the supervisory committee of the twelfth congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and in 2010, he became a delegate to the thirteenth congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
