Martyr Majid Fatah Mahmud was born in 1942 in the village of Dêlziyan, in the Diyana town of Erbil province. He was a villager and was engaged in farming.
Joined in 1962 September Revolution He became a peshmerga in the Balekê force, which was then led by Hamid Effendi, and participated in the battles in that area. He was martyred by Iraqi gangs in the town of Sidekan in 1962 and his body was buried there.
