Uncle Feriq Ahmed Kake

Feriq Ahmed's grandfather was a Peshmerga fighter during the May Revolution and was martyred in the battles of Ruzle and Parezan in 1981.


Martyr Kakebira Feriq Ehmed, known as Martyr Eta, was born in 1969 in the village of Newê, in the Xurmal district. He settled in the village and was engaged in animal husbandry.

 

In 1980, he became a Peshmerga in the Penj region of Sharazur, which was then under the command of Mullah Fayeq Chuchani. He participated in the battle of Berkegan Base, the battle of Qacir village, the battle of Kani Spilk, the battle of Seyid Sadiq Mountain, and partisan activities in the Sharazur plain.

 

On March 15, 1981, during the battle of Rezle and Parezan, when the Celaliyan attacked the Peshmerga forces' positions, Martyr Eta was hit by a bullet while defending the position and was martyred. At the same time, two of his comrades, Sherzad Wilesimti and Xule Zerdoyi, were martyred with him, and Mame Reşe, known as Reşe Keçe, was seriously injured.
