Martyr Hesen Ibrahim Ababekir was born in 1953 in the village of Rostê, in the Balekayeti region of Erbil province. He lived and worked in the village. He studied until primary school and got married. In 1972, he joined the September Revolution and became a peshmerga and later became the head of the military organization. He participated in the battles of the Omer Axa, Zozik, Hindrin and Haji Omaran people. In 1975, after the defeat of the September Revolution, he emigrated to Iran. In 1981, he was injured in a fight with the Democratic Party of Kurdistan of Iran. In 1983, during his Peshmerga activities, he was ambushed by Iraqi gangs on the slopes of Mount Halgurd with his brother Bekir Ibrahim Ababekr, who was also a Peshmerga, and was injured and captured. He was executed in Abu Khreib prison in 1985.
