In 1991, after the uprising of the Southern Kurdistan People's Republic, he returned and settled in Soran. In 1992, with the formation of the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces, he joined the Peshmerga forces and became a Peshmerga. He was martyred on December 26, 1994, in the village of Juyzanî, Çoman district.
