Biography
Teacher Abdulaziz Tayyib Ahmed Muhammad, known as Abdulaziz Bezzaz, was born in 1954 in the city of Duhok. In 1975, after the defeat of the September Revolution, he returned to the city of Duhok and continued his education. He graduated from the Teachers' Institute in the city of Duhok in 1977. In 1988, after the Anfal Campaign in Badinan, he emigrated to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He was appointed as the Governor of Duhok by the Kurdistan Regional Government in the years (1992 - 2000). On January 19, 1996, he was invited as the Governor of Duhok by the Governor of the State of Tennessee in the United States of America and was received there. On February 4, 1996, he was received in that country at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden. In 1998, he became the editor of the magazine "Asoya Perbediyi" which was published in Kurdish in the city of Erbil. On December 20, 1999, he took the legal oath before the National Council of Kurdistan and became the Minister of Education (Fourth Cabinet). He was a member of the Council of Higher Education and later, when this council became a ministry, he was the acting Minister of Higher Education for a short time. He took the oath of office as Deputy Minister of Health and Social Affairs before the Prime Minister on Tuesday, August 7, 2001. He became Minister of Agriculture (Fifth Cabinet) on May 7, 2006. He joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Students' Union in 1970. He joined the ranks of the Party in 1970. In 1971, he became a member of the Duhok region of the Nineveh Branch of the Kurdistan Students' Union. In 1971, he became the head of the Kurdistan Students' Union organizations at the Ashti Secondary School in the city of Duhok. In 1972, after the Seventh Congress, he was appointed as the administrator of the Duhok Branch of the Kurdistan Students' Union. In 1973, he became the head of the Kurdistan Students' Union organization at the Duhok preparatory school and the head of the Duhok Regional Committee of the Kurdistan Students' Union.
In 1973, he became a member of the Hope Organization Committee affiliated with the Duhok Regional Committee affiliated with the First Branch Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 1973, he became a member of the Duhok Branch of the Kurdistan Students' Union. In 1974, he wrote an article in the magazine (El-Mash'al El-Weda'), the organ of the Duhok - Nineveh Branch of the Kurdistan Students' Union. In 1974, he joined the ranks of the Peshmerga forces. In 1974, he was appointed as the administrator of the Duhok - Nineveh Branch of the Kurdistan Students' Union. In 1982, he joined the ranks of the Peshmerga forces for the second time. In 1985, he became the administrator of the Amed Regional Committee affiliated with the First Branch Committee. In 1987, during the fourth term, during the responsibility of Dr. Roj Nuri Shawes, he was appointed as the administrator of the First Branch Committee and was responsible for the organization section. In 1988, during the fifteenth year of service, during the tenure of Engineer Ramzi Sha'ban, he continued to serve in the First Branch Committee at the same rank.
In 1988, he was a member of the Preparatory Committee of the Tenth Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 1989, he was elected as an alternate member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (Tenth Congress) by the congress delegates. In 1991, during the sixteenth congress, during the responsibility of Fazil Mirani, he continued to serve in the First Branch Committee with the rank of branch manager. In 1993, he was elected as a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - United (Yazdemin Congress) by the congress delegates. On Wednesday, March 23, 1994, as the Governor of Duhok, he attended the Newroz celebration in the city of Duhok, accompanied by Nechirvan Idris Mustafa, known as Nechirvan Barzani. In 1999, he was elected as an alternate member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (Twelfth Congress) by the congress delegates. In 2010, he was a delegate to the Thirteenth Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the city of Erbil.
