Martyr Jafar Ibrahim was born in 1966 in the village of Sofi Ibrahim, in the Qoshtepe district of Erbil province. He was a farmer and was engaged in farming and animal husbandry. He attended primary school.
Martyr Cefer Ibrahim was a member of the secret organizations of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) during the May Revolution. In 1985, he became a member of the financial and statistical section of the Martyr Karwan Mentik type of the second division of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. His work and activities were limited to the villages around Erbil, and his duty was to convey the message of the revolution and collect income and supplies for the Peshmerga Forces. He also participated in two partisan activities alongside the Peshmerga Forces in the Pird district.
In 1987, after delivering supplies to his friends, holding meetings, and receiving revolutionary instructions, Jafar Ibrahim was martyred on the border of the village of Kanî Bizrê in the Qoshtepe district, due to Iraqi government airstrikes in the region.
