Bilind Ismail Cercis, a jurist and politician, joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in 1982 and the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces in 1987. He was a member of the eleventh congress in 1993 and the twelfth in 1999, and was elected as a member of the leadership council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party at the thirteenth congress in 2010.
Biography
Bilind Ismail was born in Erbil in 1965 and graduated from the Erbil Teachers' College. He received his Bachelor of Laws degree from the evening law department of Salaheddin University - Erbil in 2006. He is fluent in Kurdish, Arabic and Persian.
