Biography
Babakir Mahmud Hewêz was born in 1927 in the Pishder area, studied until primary school, is married, emigrated to Iran in 1975 after the defeat of the September Revolution, returned to Kurdistan in 1976, emigrated to Iran again in 1988 and returned to Kurdistan in 1992, and passed away in London, the capital of Britain, in 1993.

In 1961, he joined the Peshmerga forces of Ilona and became a member of the organizational committee of the military section of Sengeser. In 1963, he received the rank of battalion commander in the Kawa force. From 1967 to 1970, he was the deputy commander of the Kawa force in Qaladiz, participating in several battles and battles. In 1968, he commanded the Kawa Peshmerga to carry out a military operation such as an attack on the headquarters of an Iraqi army brigade in Kiweresh, Sengeser district.
He served in the military academy from 1970 to 1974, and was responsible for the Battle of Mount Zoziki until the defeat of the September Revolution in the same year. In 1985, he became the head of a special force under the leadership of Massoud Barzani, and in 1991, he became President Massoud Barzani's representative in Peshder and Betwen.
