Martyr Khoshewi Asad Mir Ahmed was born in 1974 in the village of Pirsiwan in the Rawandiz district of Erbil province. He studied until the sixth grade. He lived a married life, and after the uprising in Southern Kurdistan in 1991, he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. Then in 1995, he became a Peshmerga in the sixth army in Soran. He participated in many battles to defend the rule of law in the Soran area. He was martyred on September 2, 1997, at the hands of PKK militants in Mount Direbi.
