Xidir Ahmed Mustafa Abdulla

Xidir Ehmed Mistefa Abdulla, known as (Hosta Xidir Mistefa), was born in 1931 in the village of Rustê, Simîlana district, Çoman district, Erbil province. He studied at the madrasa, became a family man and had two sons and two daughters. He was martyred on July 16, 1962, by the forces of Karîm Khan Biradost.


In 1950, he joined the Iraqi army and worked in the engineering department of weapons manufacturing. In 1961, he contacted the Peshmerga forces of the September Revolution and became a Peshmerga under Abdullah Agha Peshdari. There was a small weapons manufacturing factory in the village of Rust and they manufactured weapons for the Peshmerga forces. In 1962, he was martyred by Karim Khan's forces as a result of an attack by the Iraqi army in collaboration with Karim Khan Baradost. In addition to the martyrdom of Hosta Khidir, they looted a herd of goats and a sheep from the village of Rust and seized the village.
