Martyr Tahir Miro Abdullah was born in 1932 in the village of Hawdiyan, in the Diyana town of Erbil province. He lived in the village and farmed, was uneducated, and unmarried.

In 1974, he became a pêşmerge in the Hemid Effendi Battalion of the Balekê Force, participated in the battles of Gorez, Gelî Ali Beg and Gelyê Omer Axa, and was martyred in the battle of Gelyê Omer Axa in 1974 by a bullet from the Ba'th regime.
