Biography
Salih Abdul-Xaliq Rashid, known as Seyid Salih Barwari, was born in 1931 in the village of Çem Seyda in the Barwariya Bala district of Duhok province. He emigrated to the Shah of Iran in 1975 after the defeat of the September Revolution. He passed away on March 15, 1992 and was buried in the Şaxkê cemetery in the city of Duhok.

Seyid Salih Barwari served in the Iraqi army in 1959 with the rank of Arif (soldier). In 1962, he became a member of the Peshmerga forces. In 1963, he became the commander of the artillery battalion of the First Division of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In the winter of 1967, he completed a command and battalion command tour abroad. In 1970, he became a member of the Amadea district committee of the First Division Committee.
In 1974, he became an instructor in the artillery training course of the September Revolution. In 1974, he became the commander of the support force (İsnad). In 1975, after the defeat of the September Revolution, he emigrated to Iran. In 1976, he joined the ranks of the Peshmerga forces of the Provisional Leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 1976, during the Provisional Leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, he became the head of the Amediye district committee of the First League. In 1979, he was a representative of the Ninth Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the village of Rajan in Eastern Kurdistan. In 1979, he became the secretary of the First League. In 1980, he was in the twelfth staff during the term of Dr. Cercis Hasan Abdullah was appointed as a member of the League's First Committee and was also appointed as the head of the Amadea district committee.
In 1980, he participated in the Battle of Bilimbazi on the border of Duhok province with the Iraqi Communist Party forces and was injured by the bombing of the Iraqi army forces. In 1989, he was elected as an alternate member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (Tenth Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party) by the congress delegates. In 1991, he was appointed as the First Division Officer for the second time in the sixteenth congress during the term of Fazil Mirani. In 1991, he became the military commander of the First Division Officer during the Southern Kurdistan Uprising. In 1993, he was named an immortal martyr in the decisions of the Eleventh Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Yekgirtu.
