Martyr Sheikh Salih Feqe Xidir Bas was born in 1936 in the village of Dêlziyan, near the town of Çoman in Erbil province. He was engaged in rural and agricultural work.

 

In 1962, he became involved in the Eylul Revolution and became a Peshmerga in the Balek force, which was then led by Mamosta Hamid Effendi. He participated in the battles in that area. In 1962, he was martyred in the town of Sidekan by prisoners hired by the Iraqi regime, and his body was buried there.
