Martyr Sabri Hasan Sabri was born in 1967 in the village of Mawilyan in the Rawandiz district of Erbil province. He studied until the sixth grade. He lived a married life, and after the uprising in Southern Kurdistan in 1991, he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. Then in 1995, he became a Peshmerga in the First Brigade of the Sixth Army in Soran. He participated in many battles to defend the rule of law in the Soran area. He was wounded in the village of Mawilyan in 1996. He was martyred by PKK militants on October 10, 1997, in Mount Direbi.
