Martyr Şakir Ali Mustafa, known as Şakir Çawşin, was a Peshmerga of the September Revolution and was martyred in 1966 at the Omer Axa Camp.
Martyr Şakir Ali Mustafa was born in 1945 in the town of Sidekan, in the province of Erbil. He grew up in the countryside and was engaged in farming, and he studied until the primary stage.
In 1961, he joined the September Revolution and became a Peshmerga in the Haji Beroxhi Battalion, which was then under the command of Balek. He participated in the battles of Interior, Zozik and Gorez. In 1966, he was martyred with a group of his friends in Geru Omer Axa due to the shelling of the Iraqi regime.
