Martyr Mexdîd Hemed Ali Faqe was born in 1955 in the village of Girtig, near the town of Çoman in Erbil province. He grew up in a village and was engaged in farming.

 

In 1971, he joined the September Revolution and became a Peshmerga in the 4th Battalion of the Balek Force, which was commanded by İzet Sulêman Begê Dergeleyî at the time. He participated in the battles of Mount Korek and Mount Hindurên. In 1974, he was martyred in a mine explosion on Mount Hindurên during his Peshmerga duty.
