Martyr Karim Rezaq Abdula was born in 1945 in the village of Balekiyan in the town of Diyana in the province of Erbil. He grew up in a village and was engaged in farming. He was illiterate and lived a married life.
In 1970, he joined the Eylül Revolution and became a Peshmerga in the Hamid Efendi battalion, which was led by Balek. He participated in the battles of Gorez and Sertiz and the Omer Axa Campaign. In 1974, he was wounded in the battle of Gorez Mountain and was transferred to the revolutionary hospital in Nawpirdan, but he died due to the severity of his wound.
