Martyr Hesen Heme Şerîf Kerîm Ebdula was born in 1956 in the village of Amure in the Xurmal district. He grew up in the countryside and was engaged in farming and studied until the primary stage.
In 1978, he became a Peshmerga in the Omer Xemgin detachment, the commander of the Partisan Detachment in the Sharezur plain, under the command of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's Surên force.
In 1979, Hesen Heme Şerîf and a fellow soldier named Hesen Amureyî, after returning from a partisan action in the Şarezûr plain, were ambushed by the Ba'ath regime in the village of Şiremerî near Xurmal. As a result, Hesen Heme Şerîf was martyred and Hesen Amureyî escaped the ambush with injuries.
