Martyr Abdullah Ahmed was born in 1934 in the village of Sazê, Altun Kopri district, Erbil province. He was a farmer and was engaged in farming and animal husbandry. Abdullah Ahmed was married to Saadiya Nuri and had a son and a daughter.
In 1963, he joined the September Revolution and became a pêşmerge in the 1st Battalion of Siwan, under the command of Hema Sur Hussein, of the Liberation Forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).
In 1965, Abdullah Ahmed and his friend, Hame Salih, were ambushed by the Iraqi army near the Pird district. After the clash, Abdullah Ahmed was martyred and Hame Salih escaped with injuries.
