Martyr Cebar Ehmed Ali was born in 1957 in the village of Sitkanî, near the town of Diyana in Erbil province. He grew up in a village, was uneducated, and never married.

 

In 1974, at the age of 17, he joined the September Revolution and became a Peshmerga in the Balek force and the First Battalion, which was then led by Haji Baroki. He was a fearless and active young man and was martyred in the Battle of Zozik Mountain in 1974 due to shelling by the Iraqi regime army.
