Martyr Xidir Ehmed Mistefa was born in 1930 in the village of Rustê in the Balekayeti area of ​​Erbil province. He settled in the countryside and became involved in the manufacture of weapons, becoming illiterate and a housewife.

In 1962, he became involved in the September Revolution and became a Peshmerga and engaged in weapons manufacturing. In the same year, he was martyred in the village of Rust by prisoners hired by the Iraqi regime.
