Martyr Xemo Manaf Xefur was born in 1949 in the village of Bolê, located in the town of Sidekan in the province of Erbil. He grew up in the countryside and worked as a farmer. He was not educated and never married.

 

He became a Peshmerga during the September Revolution, and participated in the battles of Interior, Zozik and Gorez in the Haji Beroxhi battalion under the Balek force. In 1966, he was martyred with a group of his friends in the Omar Axa camp in the Diyana district of Erbil province due to shelling by the Iraqi regime army.
