Mustafa Mahmud Rasul

Mustafa Mahmud Rasul joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in 1987 and became a Peshmerga. He was martyred in the Shawr Valley by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) fighters in 1988.

Martyr Mustafa Mahmud Rasul was born in 1970 in the village of Kelête in the Ruwandiz district of Erbil province. He was a peasant and engaged in farming. He was neither educated nor married.

In 1987, he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and became a peshmerga in the Balekê District Committee. He participated in the battles in the Shawrê Valley and the Balekayeti area. He was martyred in 1988 by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) fighters in the Shawrê Valley.
