Martyr Muhammad Hema Xalib Said Muhammad was born in 1969 in the village of Sheshkê, in the Xurmal district of Sulaymaniyah province. He graduated from primary school and became a family man, having two sons and two daughters.

In 1985, he contacted the Peshmerga forces of the May Revolution and became a Peshmerga in the Halabja District Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's Fourth District.

In 1988, he participated in the Battle of Xwakurkê in the Sîdekan district. He was martyred in one of the Iraqi army attacks on Peshmerga forces and was buried there on Mount Xwakurkê.
