Martyr Hamid Hesen Şiwan Mustafa was born in 1927 in the village of Bolê, near the town of Sidekan in Erbil province. He was a villager and worked as a farmer. He was not educated and did not have a married life.
In 1961, he joined the September Revolution and became a Peshmerga in the First Battalion under the command of Haji Beroxi, which was then under the command of Balek. He participated in the battles of Hinduran, Zozik and Gorez, and in 1966, he was martyred with his brother Derwesh Hasan Siwan, who was also a Peshmerga, in the Geruyê Omar Axa area of the Diyana district of Erbil province, by the Iraqi regime's artillery.
