Martyr Ahmed Hussein Abdullah was born in 1943 in the village of Balekian, near the town of Diyana in Erbil province. He lived in the village and farmed, was educated, and married.
He joined the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in 1961, became a peshmerga in the Hemid Effendi Battalion of the Balekê Force in 1970, participated in the battles of Gelî Ali Beg, Gorez, Sertîz and Gelyê Omer Axa, and was martyred in 1974 by a bullet from the Ba'th regime in the battle of Gelyê Omer Axa.
