Georges Fathallah

Lawyer Jirjis Fathallah Shamas, known as Jirjis Fathallah the Lawyer, was born in Mosul in 1920. He was of Chaldean ethnicity and Catholic faith. He completed his primary, intermediate, and secondary education in Mosul. In 1939, he was accepted into the Law Department at Baghdad College of Law, and he received his bachelor's degree in 1943. Politician Shawkat Sheikh Yazdin Muhammad Nabi was elected as a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - United in 1993. In 1993, he was one of the members of the committee to transfer the remains of leader Mustafa Barzani and Idris Barzani from eastern Kurdistan to southern Kurdistan. He served as Minister of Finance and Economy in the third cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government on September 26, 1996, and on July 1, 1998, he was chosen as Acting Minister of Industry and Energy. He was elected as a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party at the party's twelfth conference in 1999.

Awni Yousef

Awni Yusuf Ahmad Qasim, known as Awni al-Qadi, was elected to the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party by delegates at its first conference in 1946. He joined the Peshmerga forces after the deterioration of relations between the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Ba'ath Party in 1974.

Pashtwan Sadiq Abdullah

Legal and political figure Pishtiwan Sadiq Abdullah, known as Pishtiwan Khoshnaw, joined the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in 1986. He was elected to the KDP leadership at its 13th congress in 2010. He served as Minister of Education in the eighth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) on June 18, 2014, and was appointed Minister of Religious Endowments (Awqaf) in the ninth cabinet of the KRG in 2019.
