Jabar Mihemed Sharif, known as (Jabarê Hacî Sharif), was born in 1957 in the village of Wilesimti, in the Seyid Sadiq district. He grew up in the countryside and was engaged in farming. In 1977, he was forcibly transferred to the Shaniri camp by the Ba'ath regime, and one of his brothers, Salah Mihemed, was martyred in 1988.
On January 14, 1981, he became a Peshmerga at the Surên force base, which at that time was affiliated with the Derbendîxan District Committee of the Fourth Division of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. He participated in partisan activities in the Sharezûr plain.
On August 20, 1981, a detachment of several of their comrades from the Siyamêwe base on the edge of the Surên mountain went to the Şarezûr plain to carry out some partisan activities. However, on August 23, 1981, in the village of Nawgirdan in the Şarezûr plain, they fell into an ambush by a force of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan. After a clash and confrontation, Cebarê Hacî Şerîf and several of his comrades named Cemalê Melâ Elî, Cebar Mihemed Şerîf, Ehmed Banîşari, and Salihê Xale were martyred.
